Bad breath is a very common problem and the main reason for it is something that no one even thinks about.

This claim was made by the American Dental Association (ADA).
According to the ADA, if you're brushing and flossing correctly but still have bad breath, it could be a simple mistake you're making, and it's easy to fix.

When our mouth is dry, the amount of saliva is also reduced, and when the amount of saliva is reduced, food particles and bacteria stay in the mouth for a longer time.
A major cause of bad breath is the accumulation of food particles and bacteria on the tongue, teeth and gums.
When food particles decompose, unpleasant odours are released from the breath.
So the easiest solution is to drink an adequate amount of water daily which can help in controlling the problem of bad breath.
The American Dental Association recommends brushing your teeth in the morning and at night along with drinking adequate amounts of water
Along with the teeth, cleaning the tongue is also important because certain bacteria are present on the tongue that combine with food particles to cause bad breath.
