Aggressive middle-order batsman Harry Roque became the highest run-scorer in the first 6 innings for an English batsman.


Kumar Ranjit Sanji scored 418 runs in the first 6 innings in 1897 but Harry Brooke has scored 465 runs in 5 innings of the Test series against Pakistan so far.


The record for the highest number of runs in the first 6 innings is held by Vinod Kambli of India who scored 669 runs in the first 6 Test innings.
